When you say you are using the same settings, do you know if there is a place to enter a directory path? Depending on the directory structure of your files, this would likely be different from one site to another.

If you made an FTP account specifically for Dreamweaver, it is also likely that the FTP account is tied to a specific directory. That could be having an effect as well.

Hi Dap, are you receiving this message within Dreamweaver, or within cPanel? If you are getting that message in Dreamweaver, please make sure you are connecting to the server correctly. That can vary from one installation of Dreamweaver to another, and between old versions and the current AdobeCC version, so you may need to troubleshoot the appropriate Adobe documentation.

Also, it may be a good idea to connect with the server name instead of the site URL-- I've seen that clear up some Dreamweaver issues.
