Hi,

I am currently setting up web store for my domain Aeskimo.com and was told that we require a Dedicated SSL to work with our payment gateway and webstore. However, we will have 3 separate webstores within this domain: Aeskimo.com, th.aeskimo.com and jp.aeskimo.com. Under this structure, would we only need on SSL Certificate (for Aeskimo.com) or do we require 3 SSL Certificates, one for each subdomain? Please let me know. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Do I have to purchase a SSL for each sub domain too ?
SSL certificate for subdomains
Hi,
I'm working on a web site with a several levels of subdomains. I need to secure all of them with SSL, and I'm trying to determine the correct certificate strategy.
Here's what I need to secure:
+ mysite. Com
+ fr.my site. Com
+ es.my site. Com

Is it possible to use the shared ssl to secure all my sites (domain and subdomains )
Or I should buy a special ssl ?

Thanks
Sarah

Hello Aeskimo, Thanks for submitting a question about using SSL with subdomains. Yes, in general, a different SSL would be required for each subdomain, because each subdomain is considered a separate domain. However, there are wildcard SSL certificates available on the SSL market. We do not sell these with our SSL plan, but we can help install them if you decide to purchase one. Best, Christopher M.

Hello Sarah, Thank you for contacting us about SSL certificate for subdomains. We sell an SSL for $99.99 per domain (including subdomains). And of course that renews automatically each year at the same price. The value here is that we keep the SSLs renewed so your site stays live. There are SSLs you can purchase from third party vendors that work for multiple subdomains, but they are actually more expensive for one than buying three separate SSLs with us. We also charge a one-time installation fee of $24.99. Please let us know if you have any further questions; we're always happy to help. Best, Christopher M.
