WordPress Log in rejected

Wordpress will not recognize my email address or username. Not only can I not log in with my username and password, I can't get a new password sent to my email address. Suggestions are welcome!

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding password resets in WordPress. As an alternative, it is possible to reset your password from the database. You can access the WordPress database through cPanel and PHPMyAdmin. Best, Christopher M.
