I can't get FTP to connect

I am suddenly (last week or so) having a problem updating my site. I get an FTP error message. The message is telling me the /public_html/ does not exit (it does). I have logged into AMP and verified that it is right where I left it. I have tried the "passive mode" thing, but no joy. I have not changed any of my settings since the last time I was able to successfully connect. I am using a product called Serif WebPlus 5. Help Mr. Wizard!

Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues with your FTP connection. You may want to try or test with a standalone FTP program such as FileZiIla. You can then see the specific error message that is thrown which may give a better understanding of what is going on.
