I am a new customer. Installed Wordpress and a plugin from Elegant Themes called DIVI... just fine. All installed without a glitch, and I now have that Blog running fine.
Then I created a subdomain in preparation for a second blog. Wordpress installed just fine, but when I attempted to Install the DIVI plugin, it failed with the following info on screen:
Installing Plugin from uploaded file: Divi (1).zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
Return to Plugin Installer
Can you help me resolve this? Thanks.

I am having the same issues as J. Need help to sort it out

Hi! Was your subdomain created in a directory inside the parent domain's directory? If so, there is likely an .htaccess conflict. Please try moving the subdomain to its own directory in your home directory and see if that helps.

Hello joelaiken,

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your Divi theme installing onto your site. When looking at your subdomain site, I see that it is up and running with the Divi theme. It appears you were able to correct the issue and get it installed.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
