I cannot update, edit, or add a MX record.

I have tried the MX Entry feature in cPanel. At the bottom of the page where it is supposed to show my MX Records, it does not do anything but spin "Loading, Loading...". I have tried WHM, DNS Functios, Edit MX Record. This displays a list of domains. I can select a domain but when I click EDIT, nothing happens.

How can I add or edit my MX Records? The article in the knowledge base does not have any other suggestions.

Hello Ratchild, Sorry to hear that you're having problems with the change in MX entry. If you are using the primary domain to make your DNS changes, then you will have problems because that domain (ratchild.com) is not pointed to us. We are not the DNS authority, which means that there are no records for that domain which can be altered. You will need to modify the DNS records (which include the MX records) where your domain's DNS is currently being saved. This is generally indicated by the name servers assigned to the domain. Typically, you can edit the MX records in the MX entry option or the Advanced DNS editor in cPanel. NOTE: We are aware of the A record pointing to our servers, but the MX records would still need to be made in the same location where you created the A record. If you want to control mail using our servers here, then you will need to point the name servers to us. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
