Dear Sir,
I have hosting on your server. This is web site http://205.134.239.13/~evarna5/index.php?route=common/home
If we try to send order it seems send, but we don't have an e-mail. From web design told us I should write to you. " If it does not work, please check with the hosting provider if mail function works on your server and also check if it's reasonable to use SMTP." We try everything. Can you help, pleace?

Hello,

Sorry for the problem with sending email from your website. To help troubleshoot in the future, please provide more information about the program you're using, such as the version number, any error messages, and settings that you are using. In looking at your setup, if you're trying to use the default phpmail option available through OpenCart, your PHP.INI file is incomplete and missing critical settings that are required for it to work.

You can however, very easily get a server default PHP.INI file. First, however, make sure to RENAME your existing PHP.INI file to a different file name such as PHP.OLD. Next, follow these steps:

  1. login to cPanel
  2. Go to the software and services section section and click on PHP CONFIGURATION
  3. WARNING - if you have NOT renamed your PHP.INI file, then this update will overwrite it. Click on UPDATE.

This will create a default PHP.INI file in the public_html folder. You can then copy your settings from the existing file into the new one. The new file should also have all of the necessary settings for mail to work.

At this point, please test your email. If you continue to have problems, make sure to read through this article

You may need to change the setting in OpenCart to match the one that is in the article.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,

Arnel C.
