I am looking to transfer files from my old host to InMotion. I have avery slow internet connection and so would like to try wget or curl. How do I do this?

I am on Mac with none to very little terminal experience.
(I am an InMotion customer, not sure if I logged in correctly)

(The old host requires driving licence and utility bill to enable SSH and I do not want to do this
I have also tried FXP copy using Forklift, but a quite a few files failed to transfer and there is no error log to see which ones. So now I would like to try wget or curl)

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about transferring a site using wget/curl. Using a curl/wget may be a good option to pull the pages, if you have a HTML based website. But if you use databases/PHP it will most likely not migrate the important aspects of your site. I found a post via online search where they discuss a possible way to download a copy of your site using a wget. Since it seems your site is hosted with bluehost, it may be easier to request a website transfer from AMP. This will create a request for us to migrate the site for you. Since we migrate many websites from bluehost, our transfer team is familiar with the process. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul
