I posted this question and it's NOWHERE, so I hope this doesn't disappear again!

I just updated my plugins on my WP site and now all pages come up with the error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING...

This has happened before but I can't remember how I resolved it.

Hello monica67, Sorry to hear you are having an error on your WordPress site after updating the plugins. I took a look and see the following error on your site: "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/*******/public_html/wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded.php on line 19" Looking at the error, you can see that it gives the issue as being in the 'subscribe-to-comments-reloaded' plugin. I looked at the file but cannot see anything obvious there. You may need to disable the plugin and then either reinstall an older version, a different plugin, or contact the plugin developer to see if they can fix it. To disable the plugin, you can go to the File Manager in the cPanel. From there, navigate to /wp-contents/plugins and then rename the 'subscribe-to-comments-reloaded' folder to something else, like ''subscribe-to-comments-reloaded.disabled' or something. This will cause it not to be loaded. Then, you should be able to log into your back end and formally remove the plugin, if it appears in the plugin list. As to your question not showing, they will not display until they have been approved by an Administrator. Kindest Regards, Scott M
