Redirecting Links from an old cart to a new one

Hello,

A website that I am creating currently has over 150 products on their old cart. I am in the process of creating a new website with a new cart that is more up to date. With that said, I will need to redirect approximately 200 or so links to the new permalink structure. Does anyone know the best way to do this for a GOOGLE friendly move? I can do this using an htaccess file redirecting links one by one, however their is going to be a bunch of redirects. Is google okay with this or is there a better option? I understand a hit will be taken, I am just trying to soften the blow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding redirects. Doing the redirects all from the .htaccess would be fine as long as they are 301 redirects.
