Order Status shows up as 'Complete' on new orders?

Hello. I am relatively new to supporting a client using opencart. One of the problems this client is having is that, when a new order comes in, most of the time it is listed as 'pending', but about 30% of the time it is listed as 'complete'. In system settings under the store/option tab under 'checkout', the order status is set to 'pending'. I can't figure out why some are coming in as 'complete.' Any ideas?

Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues with orders setting themselves as 'Complete' in OpenCart. We would need more information and the ability to duplicate the issue in order to assist. What version of OpenCart are you using? What version of PHP are you using? Did the behavior occur after adding any extension? Is it doing it to specific products? Are they products you added or does it also do it with default products? How specifically are the customers attempting to pay for the item in the orders that are setting themselves as complete? Have you tried the OpenCart forums to see if anyone else is having the same issue and found a solution? Kindest Regards, Scott M
