I received this notification in my company's SHOPIFY account...can you assist me with this?

"As of November 1st, 2015 your DNS settings are incorrect. If you don't take immediate action your online store may stop functioning correctly. Follow these instructions to update your domain.

Recommended Upgrade your root domain's DNS record to us an ALIAS or ANAME record to point to your .myshopify.com hosted domain name (instead of using an A record to point to Shopify's IP)"

I am not sure what steps to take? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for your question on upgrading your root domains DNS records to ANAME or ALIAS for Shopify. Currently, we do not provide support for ANAME or ALIAS records. Root domains use the standard A record. I checked and Shopify does indeed still support A records although they recommend the ANAME or ALIAS where available. As long as your A record is pointed correctly, Shopify will still work for your site. You can check Shopify's own article on the subject here. If you need to change the DNS records, you can do so via the Advanced DNS Zone editor located in your cPanel. Kindest Regards, Scott M
