Problem of hiding subfolder from domain name (Joomla website)

I tried to redirect my Joomla website located under a "subfolder" to "www.example.com". I want to hide my "subfolder" from my URL. I'd tried "Redirect" from cPanel, and it works when type in www.example.com, but all the links from my website still shows "www.example.com/subfolder".

This is the result that I'm looking for:
www.hoomie.com.au/studio -> www.hoomie.com.au

I want to hide "studio", but showing the page alias is fine.
Correct: www.hoomie.com.au/about
Incorrect: www.hoomie.com.au/studio/about

Can anyone help? Appreciated!!!

Hello Hoomie, Thank you for your question. Instead of trying to redirect you can just have your document root changed to the studio folder so your websites document root would be /home/userna5/public_html/studio . In order to get this done you will need to contact support to make the desired changes. Best Regards, TJ Edens
