How to avoid meta http-equiv tag
Hello. Google page speed insights and gtmetrix both say I need to avoid meta http tag in the header for my website: www.behappyzone.com because it is making my site too slow and causing problems with IE 8. This is currently in the head section of all my pages: I am new to website building and built my site by modifying a template. So this either came from a template or I read it in a beginner's book. gtmetrix says I must set the Character Set from the Server and offers this line as an example Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 So I am not sure exactly what I am suppose to do. Do I need to change this meta tag lin in the head section of my web pages or are they referring to something else. It says something about making changes on my server, not sure what they are wanting me to do exactly. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
