Getting lots of spam

Since i transferred from hostgator to inmotion, i have been getting lots of email spam for my email address [email protected]

any possible reason on this? thanks

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about getting a lot of spam emails. Please see our helpful section on Dealing with Spam. When I search Google for your email address, it shows up on many websites in plain text. Specifically, on your privacy policy page, Facebook, and Google+ accounts. For security purposes and to reduce spam, always obfuscate your email address so it is not in plain text on a website. This is often accomplished with a CAPTCHA type system, which attempts to verify that it is a human requesting the address. Also, since this is a public forum, I marked out your email address.
