Have you ever see a tracert end like this below? The end IP is 192.168.219.140 Any idea what could cause this to show 4 times and time out twice? Generally it only shows the end IP once.

12 * 273 ms * 192.168.219.140
13 * * * Request timed out.
14 261 ms * * 192.168.219.140
15 282 ms * *

Hello, Thanks for the question about the tracert results. Generally, when you see something like this at the END of the tracert, it's because of the network configuration. It's probably due to an external interface, and internal interface that is being natted to the external IP. The timeouts are typically due to firewalls. You would need to speak with network engineer familiar with your network setup to specifically identify what's happening in your network at the end of the trace. We have a basic document that also explains how to read traceroutes. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
