Can not create sub-domain.

Hello, I need to re-create a sub-domain and perform a backup restore.
The problem is that I deleted sub-domain x and cleaned up all the old files. Now I want to recreate sub-domain x but get this error:
A DNS entry for the domain “x” already exists.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello, Sorry that you're having problems with creating the sub-domain. The problem is that the folder structure may still exist from when you previously created the subdomain if you did not delete it through the cPanel subdomain section. If you did not use the Subdomain option in cPanel, then, you should delete it in the cPanel file manager before recreating the subdomain. If you continue to run into trouble with creating the subdomain, then you can double-check your DNS by using the Advanced DNS editor. When you create a subdomain, you'll see an array of entries that are created whenever you add a subdomain to your site. You'll be able to see all of the entries using the Advanced DNS editor. You can also use the editor to remove entries. However, you should only make modifications with the editor if you are sure of the modifications you are making. If you are unsure and need help with the DNS, then you should contact our live tech support team for assistance. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
