Their first question Google asks is to: Add all your website versions. Make sure you add both "www" and "non-www" versions for your site. Also, if you use the HTTPS protocol, add those variations as well.
I loaded my website through Dreamweaver and I have no idea what these other sites are. I know I have many other sites also but, I have no idea how to, or what to, use them for. these other sites are:

Hostname: This is the hostname to the server and is used if you do not have a domain pointing.
Temp URL: This is a temp URL that is used to access your website if you do not have a domain.
Temp Control Panel: Same as the above, but for cPanel.
Temp Webmail: Same, but for Webmail
Shared Secure Server: An SSL certificate location that you can use if you do not have a domain, or if you need to encrypt traffic.
Control Panel: The location of your cPanel
Webmail: A web-based location you can use to access email.
Nameserver 1: and 2: Your nameservers if you need to point a domain to your hosting account.
Nameserver 1 Ip: and 2 lp: The IP addresses of the nameservers.

Regarding your primary question, they are simply stating to list both email.com and www.example.com. While these typically point to the same place, they are considered different locations in the technical aspect of things.
