Question w/email setting on iPhone & iPads (FETCH settings)

I understand that on Macs, we need to disable the IDLE setting if we run IMAP mail. Is there a similar setting that needs to be disabled on iPhones and iPads? The only thing I could find that resembles IDLE on Apple mobile devices is Fetch. Does that need to be altered? If so, what is the recommended setting?

Hello, Thank you for your iPhone/iPad question. I spent some time searching online and in Apple's forums, and I could not find a similar setting idle in the iPhone or iPad. In fact they are discussing how the feature is missing. I also reviewed our iPhone/iPad email setup guide, and it also doesn't include the setting. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul
