Why Does My WordPress Login With A Saved Password Redirect To A Blank Page?

I haven't used my Wordpress in some time, and had some RewriteEngine blocks on the domain because bots were brute force attacking causing login issues.

I'm not sure why, but after logging in the screen loads blank with "not secure" showing in the title bar. Does this ring a bell to a common issue?

The page it redirects to is /wp-admin/admin.php?page=itsec

Hello Jon,

Sorry for the issues with logging into a blank page on your WordPress site.  This issue is related to your WordPress site redirecting - not the actual saved password. You may need to review/edit you .htaccess file.  There are many possible issues concerning how your .htaccess file may have been altered or using the wrong code.  Check out the WordPress wp-login.php Brute Force Attack article for more details on how the .htaccess file should be formatted.  If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest regards,

Arnel C.
