Prestashop combination not working.

Please refer to the following link:

Note that this product has (2) types of combinations, STYLES and SIZES. What ever combination is in the first position works fine. The combination in the second position does not work properly.

Example: The combination STYLES changes as expected, When a different style is selected, the image changes. However, the combination SIZES is supposed to change the pricing when different sizes are selected. It does not.

Note that when I place SIZES back in the first position it changes pricing just fine but in contrast STYLES, now in the second position, stops working and does not change images

Something is wrong here. Every combination should work regardless of the position it is in. Please advise.

Hello,

Arnel and I have done multiple tests on this for you. No matter how they are entered in the combinations tab, the Sizes and Styles will display in the same order. It is true that these two combination dropdowns do not work together. I cannot find any logical reason as to why the Color and Sizes dropdowns appear in the order they do. I made a test bed and used Color instead of Style and it displayed the same way the Jive Dog Toy did. It also worked with adjusting the price.

However, I looked more closely and noticed that there are not any true 'combinations' on the products. Each 'combination' is a single attribute. Combinations are meant to be more than one attribute, such as Cobalt Blue - Small, Cobalt - Blue - Medium, etc. This means there would be a lot of combinations for the 5 sizes and 15 colors for the 5*15dog bed, 75 or so actually.

Using the 'Products Combinations Generator' button from the Combinations tab will help automatically generate all 75 combinations. I did this on a test product and this allowed the price to change appropriately regarding sizes. I still do not know why the Jive Dog Toy works, but creating full combinations is the correct way to go in PrestaShop.

Kindest Regards,

Hello,

We are still working on as to why this is happening to your combinations. We are not able to duplicate it with test products and see that other objects such as the Jive Dog Toy also works. I am still testing on the Bumper Dog Bed and hopefully will have an answer for you soon.

Kindest Regards,
