Sending mail error: Too many concurrent SMTP connections

We have multiple users experiencing the same issue with email accounts that have worked properly for many years. When sending messages using our domain accounts via email client, we're getting the following error message:
"An error occurred sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: Too many concurrent SMTP connections; please try again later.."

Hello, Thank you for your question. This is typically a soft bounce, meaning the server will try again before it completely fails. We are happy to help, but will need some additional information, to better assit you. Is the email being returned/bounced? Our Bounceback Parser is helpful when troubleshooting returned messages. You can also forward returned emails to Live Support, so they can review it on your actual account. What is the actual email address having the problem? If you do not want to post it here in the public forum, forward the email in a Ticket. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul
