I had updated to 3.0 and then could not access admin panel, now I used the auto update to 4.0 and lost site. Is there a back up?

Hello, The site is not likely gone, but pointed to a new blank database. You will need to have the wp-config.php settings point to the previous database in order to bring your data back. This will require resetting the database user in the cPanel for the old database so you can get a new password for it. Then you will need to enter the database name, database user, and database password into the proper settings in the wp_config.php. Once that is done and you can see your data again, you can return to the cPanel and delete the extra database. If that is confusing or you would like for us to do it, we can do so. I would need account verification to do so. Just send an email to [email protected] with the domain name and either the current AMP password or the last 4 digits of the credit card on file. (DO NOT place that info here as it is a public forum!) Once you have sent the email, please comment here so we know to go and get that information. Kindest Regards, Scott M
