Site Failing GTMetrix Report

I just re-designed my website with a WPress theme and finding all kinds of new issues with caching, server usage, and have no idea what to do now. I am trying to do everything IMH is telling in these support pages, but I am still failing the GTMetrix Report. I installed the WP Super Cache and configured as stated here, and inserted the code to kill the heartbeat thing, and auto saves, but still failing. Something still needs configuring differently but I have no clue what. Please help.
Thanks

Hello PaulAlford, Thank you for your question. I scanned your website with GTMetrix, and saw it scored low for Leverage browser caching, Specify image dimensions, Enable gzip compression, and Defer parsing of JavaScript. Have you clicked the Recommendations to see the full details? It provides specific information for you. For example, when you click Leverage browser caching, it drops down and lists the following information: "The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources:" In this case you would just adjust the setting for WP Super cache to expire later. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
