WP Admin Panel Performance Issues

I have two domains on my inmotion account. On my primary domain, the WP admin panel works fine. On my secondary domain, it is mind-numbingly slow. And now it seems I can not save widgets, perhaps because of a time out issue, I do not know. It has been suggested that the theme is the culprit. I normally use the Thesis theme, but I deactivated it to use the WP 2014 theme. The problem persists. I only have basic plugins, and on advice, I just added a caching plug in. Also, I suspect that both my domains are hosted on the same server so I can not understand why the performance of one is fine and the other isn't. I would be grateful for any assistance. If knowing my domain URLs helps, I will share. Thank you so much.

Hello bschwartz88, Thank you for your question. Have you seen our guide on optimizing your Wordpress website, which is explained in this guide. Following these suggestions can usually increase the performance of a Wordpress website. We are happy to help, but will need some additional information to further assist you. Can you provide a link to the website, so we can attempt to replicate the problem? After adding the caching plugin, has the performance on your website changed? Troubleshooting the plugins can help determine if they are the problem. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
