I do not believe we are running the most current version of Moodle that InMotionHosting supports because the screen shots of different processes on Moodle in your tutorial and documentation pages do not match the version I am currently using.

I am getting the following error message when I attempt to upload a file.

"Error JSON string"
"Request Time-out
Server timeout waiting for the HTTP request from the client."

This has happened with video and .jpg files of various sizes. I am using Firefox to access our website.

I have chemistry students who need these videos for their class assignments.

Thank you.

Hello Cynthia, Thank you for your question. Putting Moodle in debugging mode, can help provide more specific error messages. As a test, you may want to try disabling mod _security in your cPanel, then testing again. If it works after that , then you know mod_security was causing the problem. I found a similar question posted in the Moodle forums, where several possible solutions are provided. I could not see what version of Moodle you are running, but here is a link to the official guide on Updating Moodle. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
