How do i update my drupal with these security updates that i keep being informed about.kindly give me a step by step procedure and the risks of not updating the same.

On that page, it states "It is strongly recommended that you always keep your Drupal site up to date with the very latest minor release available, to remove known security vulnerabilities and existing bugs."
