Why am I getting a 404 Error on pages when cloning a site?

I recently cloned my site to another domain, when I click on the pages, it gives me this error:
Error 404 - Not Found

The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

The main home page works fine, and the content is in all of the physical pages within wordpress, they're just not showing up. Can you help me to fix this error?

Hello, Thank you for your question today. I am unable to duplicate your issue with a clone test. All images, posts, etc are working correctly. As you did not give any information that would identify your site, I cannot speak specifically for your account nor can I test it. If you are an InmotionHosting customer, feel free to reply with the domain name and I can dig into your specific issue. Very generally however, once a site is migrated or cloned, the most common problems occur due to permalinks. To check these, please log into the WP Admin area and turn them off, save, then turn them on again. If the permalinks are the issue, then that should fix it for you. Please let us know either way so we can help you. Kindest Regards, Scott M
