phpMyAdmin Import/Export not working

Since October 25, 2013 (when I first noticed) phpyMyAdmin is completely unresponsive in cPanel. I cannot import or export a database file. The button to acutally start the import does nothing when clicked.

I've contaced live support chat twice and both times it was acknowledged there was a known problem in phpMyAdmin and that the sys admins were "actively looking in to the problem". However, no one can tell me why this happened. One person said it was a problem with the cPanel software and other person did not know. If it is cPanel, how did something so important as phpMyAdmin suddenly break???? I'm sure I'm not the only person on a shared enviroment to absolutely need phpMyAdmin.

And, as of right now, it's been four days since I've discovered this problem. I don't understand why something like this is not fixed within that time period. I picked InMotion Hosting to host my **company's!!** website because of your high and positive reviews. In the past 6 months, it seems as if InMotion has problem after problem.

This .js file is returning a 404 error when I look at phpyMyAdmin with Dev Tools..
/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/js/jquery/jquery-1.6.2+fix-9521.js?ts=1375007690

Anyone else catch that....?

Does anyone know exactly what caused phpMyAdmin to break, and when will something like this be fixed?? Once it is and I can export my db, I'm leaving Inmotion Hosting for good.

For anyone interested - as of October 30, 10:00 am EST, this problem with phpMyAdmin and cPanel seems to be fixed. I was able to import my database and update my website without a problem.

Hello, Thank you for your question. We do apologize for phpMyAdmin issue. The issue is indeed due to a cPanel update and has affected all the servers. We have been in contact with cPanel and are awaiting a patch so we can release it to all servers, allowing the phpMyAdmin to once again work. In the meantime, if you need any databases imported, our Support team is happy to do so for you. Simply send us a verified email request to do so (that means include either the current AMP password or the last 4 digits of the credit card on file.) You can either attach the database file to the email if it is small enough (under 15MB) or upload it to your account via FTP and we can then grab it for importing. From there our team can import the database for you. Again, we do apologize for the situation, it was certainly not something we could control and is definitely an issue we want fixed as soon as possible for all our customers. Thank you so very much for your patience in the matter. Kindest Regards, Scott M
