Thanks for posting your question regarding the multiple nameservers for InMotion Hosting. The reason we have multiple nameservers is for redundancy. This way, you can rest assured that your domain's DNS is always available, even if one of the nameservers is having issues. You should use both:
ns1.inmotionhosting.com 74.124.210.242
ns2.inmotionhosting.com 70.39.150.2
