Remove Blog Features/Comments Section from WordPress template

I'm setting up my website using a WordPress template. I cannot seem to get rid of the "comments" section that appears at the bottom of every page. I don't want a blog at all at this time, just a website. I have the pages set as "static" but this doesn't help.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hello TechTerrified, In WordPress, some of the themes may determine how the comments section is removed. Additionally, you can use a plugin like the Hide Comments plugin. Take a look at the bottom of the EDIT PAGE screen in your dashboard. Again depending on your theme, you may have an option to enable or disable the comments. Other than that , you would need to edit the template page for your Wordpress site in order to remove the comments section. If you have any further questions, please leave a comment with more details and and we will be happy to review the issue for you.
