Has the SMTP server been overloaded lately?
I randomly receive a message that it is busy or not available (sorry I should have written down the message) when I attempt to send an email. This seems to happen about 10 to15 percent of the time.

Apologies for the server performance. Yes the servers have been a little loaded as of late. There has been an influx in traffic causing the load on the servers to go up - this has affected the overall performance of the servers. The systems team is aware of the issues working to restore normal operations shortly.
