Hello cpobst, and thanks for the question. Sorry to hear that you've been having some trouble getting your website up and running. It looks like you've run into some roadblocks while setting up WordPress, and this is what was causing your 404 page not found errors. Basically in the WordPress admin dashboard, you have the Settings > Reading section, and you had the Front page displays set to A static page, but you did not have a static page selected. I've gone ahead and selected Lady Makes It from the drop-down for you, or you could change it to show your most recent posts as well. This got rid of the 404 error page, however it looks like it also tried to load up an image that didn't exist on that page. That image appears to be getting added by your Appearance > Theme Options > Slider settings > Enable slider - Enable feature posts slider on front page. setting. It looks like you might need to go to the Slider > Slider section in WordPress and click on the Set featured image link. You probably have to actually publish the slider as well instead of just leaving it as a draft. I hope this helps steer you in the right direction. If you continue to have issues you might want to see about trying to contact the theme developer of the theme you're using. Here is a link to the Emerald WordPress theme - Setup Slider page that they have explaining how to setup the sliders correctly for instance. - Jacob
