Custom Banner Fit to Screen in Premium Website Builder

I just edited and uploaded a new banner to the website design I've been working on in Sitebuilder. It is the correct size (780x234) and all, but the problem I'm having is stretching or lack thereof. The body of the pages stretch to fill my screen but the header remains its original size. Is there anyway to stretch this to fit the full screen or is it always just going to fill half my screen?

Hello Cmore11,

The problem is that depending on the template you have selected, the banner is NOT a single piece that you can simply edit with one graphic. It is typically made of several pieces and then it is re-sized dynamically depending on your web browser display size. This means that if you want to change the main graphic in the banner (sized at 780x234) you will need to have the core of the graphic WITHIN the 780x234 pixel space, then frame it with the colors of the template around it. You can find these pieces AFTER you have published the site - you can't edit it within the Builder. You can change the main graphic of the banner within the Builder, but it will not change ALL of the pieces - only the portion you have selected. The best way to see all of the pieces of the banner is to use Firefox to view the site after you have published. If you right-click on the page, you can choose to view page info - the individual graphics will be listed - including the size and the name of each piece of the banner.

Sorry for the frustration, let us know if you have any further issues.
