Wordpress broken picture links, failure to load theme, Twitter feed in Wordpress not loading

Many of my picture links are not showing up in my blog. Iwas using PhotoDrop plugin for Word Press. Also, my theme is not loading correctly--my background is not supposed be the white color it is. My pictures are loaded on the server and there are no errors coming up on the InMotion side. Wordpress is also failing to load the twitter feed.

If I try to change themes, the new theme doesn't load correctly.

Please see my site at phdmomdropout.com.

Thank You in advance for any help with this.

Hello Farmmom,

I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue, but it appears that you or another person may have been in some of the files as I was when I was trying to review the issue. The problem with the links is related to your domain name which was used as the folder name for the Wordpress installation. Linux/Unix servers are typically CASE SENSITIVE, meaning, if you use capital letters in a file name or folder name, then using the domain name spelled with capital letters and then using it WITHOUT capital letters will yield two different results. I noted that your database has lower-case references to the domain in many different places. The web server (and Wordpress) will then NEVER find the path, because you used capital letters in the add-on domain. I would highly suggest removing it for now, and then re-migrating it (as this looks like you moved the site into this location) AFTER you re-create the add-on domain using ALL LOWER-CASE letters. It would be a lot easier then trying to go everywhere and make corrections to paths in files and database tables.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
