Do you run IIS or Unix or Linex or other?

Hello TomballTribune, and thank you very much for your question. All of our servers run Linux, so IIS is not available as we run the Apache web-server software. Yes you can use Joomla on your account with us. We actually have some great educational channels on both Joomla 2.5 as well as Joomla 3.0 that walk through how to install and use Joomla with our services. The hostname for any database servers with us would typically just be set to localhost as we run the MySQL service on the same server as the web-server itself.
