I am ready to point my DNS to your servers, and your technicians have uploaded the contents of my website to your temporary URL. http://ecbiz119.inmotionhosting.com/~arcadi15

Please log into the link, and look at the red and gold banner on the top of the page.

the links tilte "Arcadians Forum, Alumni, about us. sponsors and FAQ, are not linked on to your temporary URL. They are directing to the current servers ArcadiaApaches.com.

Can you correct this?

Hi gregtober, Thanks for posting a question. I'm more than happy to assist you. The issue you are describing is common when using the temp url and is due to how your links in your code are written. Since your links are written with absolute paths instead of relative paths they will point to the domain. You don't need to update them, simply becuase after you change the DNS records and point your domain to your account with InMotion Hosting and propagation occurs, it will work as intended. You can do a host file modification, that will allow you to "point" your domain to your hosting account. Please be advised a hosts file modification will only affect your local computer. Here's a link to our article on modifying your hosts file: Modifying your Hosts File If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S
