This is in regards to earlier question on logo and wordpress

How do I make a copy of the default file?

Also, is the file the logo? or the whole website? or something else?

How would I know the numerical height of the image?

When I replace "path to image" in step #3,with my web address, do I keep the quotation marks?

If my image is saved under "my documents" should that work for being able to upload the image once I have completed all this editing? When I tried to upload it yesterday I received a message that it was unable to read it.

Thanks again!

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. You may want to look into using a more customizable theme that would allow you to add a logo.

As far as backing up the style.css file, you simply need to copy it to another file for safe keeping. You can do this by cutting and pasting the code from the original style.css file to a text file.

I'm having difficulty understanding your question about the logo. The logo is the file you have that represents your business. The file you are using is the logo of your business.

As for the height of the image, on your local computer you can load the image and the properties will tell you the exact size of the image. Also, any image editor will give you the same information. The URL needs to be inside the quotes.

You can upload the logo file from anywhere on your local computer. What was the exact error message you received when trying to upload the image?

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thanks!
