How do I update my nameservers?

I just bought a domain and a friend is doing the web design for me before I buy server space.

Sir I cannot find the nameserver of the domain because invalid domain name is telling.

when i bought my hosting yesterday i think they told me you folks would be changing nameservers for me. am i correct or will i have to point the servers myself? i don't want to wait forever and find out i have to do it myself

Hi imaginate, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. It's actually quite simple. You'll need to use the nameservers for the host your friends server is on. Then he'll need to add the domain as an add-on domain. Once propagation takes place you'll be able to access your site (usually takes 4 to 24 hours).
