email forward

I have forwarders from our domain email accounts to our personal accounts. One message sent to one of our domain emails took five hours to appear in my boss's AOL webmail account. Any ideas? Just sent another one from my bellsouth account to my domain account and it only took one minute to bounce to my gmail account. Perhaps this is internet related vs. forwarding related?

Hi amygprice,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm sorry you are having issue with email. I'm more than happy to assist you. It's tough to diagnose the issue without further information. Did you receive a message letting you know the email was being delayed?

In times like this - If you can provide the email recipients address and the email account it was sent from, I'd be happy to look at the email logs to try to further determine where the issue was.

It's not uncommon that companies such as AOL will queue messages that are being delivered for various reasons and this may have been the cause.

If you want to provide me the details of when the email was sent, from where it was sent, and who it was sent to I'd be happy to look into it for you.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thanks!
