Hi sctitus, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. Google and other search engines will crawl your website to index it and determine your ranking for keywords based on many factors. You're first step would be to let the search engines know your site is there and exists. Here's an article outlining how to do so: How to get your site into Search Results Also, you may want to set up a Google Webmaster Tools account for your website. This tool offered free of charge by Google will allow you to "help" Google find and properly index your website. We have a great article on Webmaster Tools as well: Introduction to Webmaster Tools Also, it's important to understand the two biggest factors you can control to improve your website's rankings are backlinks and content. Content is important because Google will determine what your website is about based on the keywords it finds. It's important to make sure that your site has unique content (not copied from another website) that is keyword rich. You'll want to effectively use your keywords through out the content. Backlinks are important (other websites linking to yours) because they establish your website as a legitimate source authority on the information. Backlinks are always best when they are one way links since trading links with other websites is frowned upon.
