WHM setup and Reseller account

Hello!
I have a new Reseller hosting account.
In WHM I note that the primary account is not listed there. Previous web hosts always had that one setup. I don't think it is a problem necessarily. But, I am curious.

What is the reason for that?

Also, would it be of benefit to set up an account in WHM for the primary reseller account?
Thanks,

Patty P

Hi Arnel,

Okay, that makes sense. I had wmhs before, and I certainly will be having that. So, I will go ahead and set the primary in whm.
Thanks,

Patty

Hello Patty,

Thanks for your question about the primary Reseller account.  I guess this is just a matter of perspective.  If a reseller has a website where online management tools need to be available to your clients, then setting up a primary site may be necessary.  If you're not using those tools (for example, WHMCS), you may not need to set up the primary site for the reseller.

The level of reseller hosting you've purchased may also be important, as a VPS server has many more options for account management.  If you want to learn more about the differences and features of the reseller account, I recommend that you speak directly with our sales staff.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest Regards,

Arnel C.
