I am a complete beginner here. I am using hummingbird to optimize my website that I used wordpress to make. One of the recommendation is to update browser caching settings. Hummingbird generated some codes that need to be added to my nginx.config. The code need to be added to the http or insider serve section in the file. Where do I access the nginx.config file, is it in cpanel? Can someone direct me to a video tutorial or give me some specific instructions? Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for the question about adding codes to the Nginx.config.  Depending on your account type you may not have access to this file. Only VPS or dedicated server accounts can be given root access to the account and have access to certain configuration files.  My recommendation is to submit a support ticket to the live technical support team and ask them if it is possible to add these configuration changes to your account.  Note that shared server accounts may have configurations that are shared by multiple users on a server, and therefore may not be changed.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest Regards,

Arnel C.
