I keep receiving emails from hackers and I'm worried about my security. I do not have this issue on my other email accounts hosted through Gmail. Is there a way to create a two step authentication or the like via inmotion email?

Hello Hpusey1,

Apologies for your concern over the emails from hackers that you're receiving.  Email spam from a possible hacker is a passive attack - meaning that nothing will happen unless you click on a link or open the file attached to that type of email. Keep in mind that there a number of different reasons you might receive such an email. However, it's not because of lack of security on your account.

Two-factor authentication does not affect the emails that you receive.  It does apply to accessing your account, though. For peace of mind, you can activate two factor authentication in cPanel.  It will be under the Security section in cPanel.

You can also utilize Spam Experts - the new spam prevention tool in you cPanel.  You can blacklist a domain, quarantine emails, etc.

I hope this helps to answer your question. If you need further assistance, please let us know!

Kindest regards,
Arnel C.
