I have signed up via Template Monster, and have paid a fee for them to install my template. They require URL, FTP details plus C-panel/hosting account (or MySQL) details. Where is all this to be found? Thank you!

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

The URL would just be the domain name of your site.

For FTP details, please refer to our Getting Started with FTP guide. You may want to create an FTP account just for Template Monster, but please be especially careful about the 'directory' you tie the account to. By default, cPanel adds an 'extra' directory on the end that tends to lock people out of the site directory they are actually trying to create the account for!

The cPanel account details, should you choose to provide them, would just be the cPanel username and password. The username will be visible in the cPanel itself and is also listed as the user's home directory name in the file manager. The password to your cPanel can be updated in the AMP and within cPanel. Please be sure that your AMP and cPanel password are different before giving a developer access to your cPanel!

Alternatively, the MySQL details would be the database username and password. For Wordpress sites, the easiest thing to do is going to be checking the wp-config.php file. That ill contain the database name, database username, and associated password.

I hope that helps, but if you need further assistance or run into trouble, please get in touch with our 24/7 Technical Support team for direct assistance!
