Should I split my website?

We have a ranch with a barn used as a wedding venue and an indoor arena for horse events.  We are trying to build the wedding business back up again after covid, but we are getting a lot of traffic to our website from the horse community. How can I know if this is messing up google because the two groups are looking for something completely different? We have a domain name for the arena that points to a page about the arena, but should we split the two into completely separate sites? Or is better to keep them together as they share the same physical address? Or should I take the arena out of the main navigation on the ranch website, and just have a link for those looking for the arena? Or any other ideas?

Thanks for contacting us with these great questions. I recommend the following:

  1. Edit SEO title and description for each page for their respective goals
  2. Research your web analytics software for more info on related activity first
  3. If those two things don't resolve your issue, consider a separate theme for certain pages to ensure visitors know which brand they're looking at
