Changed my WordPress temp address to the domain and now I cannot log into my admin

This is multiple steps and I probably skipped something.

Set up new WordPess hosting with inMotion wp-3000 and started a WordPress build.

After pointing my namecheap domain to inMotion DNS I was able to access the site but would see the temp address after clicking a link.

So I updated the WordPress temp address to the domain from the WordPress admin which updated the site to display the domain while clicking through. However, now I cannot log back into my WordPress admin to finish the website.

Did I skip a step when pointing DNS or was switching the temp address in admin not the way to do it?

Hello ApollosSteaks,

Thank you for your question regarding WordPress. It is likely that the temporary URL is still being defined in the WordPress database or within the wp-config.php file itself. I recommend reviewing this guide that shows how to modify the WordPress URL in these places:
