boldgrid ninja forms

My site says that I have Boldgrid Ninja Forms installed.  Additionally, I have the plugin's Ninja Forms and Ninja Forms Paypal Express.  I attempted to install the Ninja Forms add-on for forms builder but I received a fatal error stating that it was already installed with Boldgrid.  How would I access this feature?  When I go to use the Forms and build one, I don't have the ability to create columns or adjust the widths of the fields.  Is there something special I need to know to either turn that feature on or access it another way?

I was not aware ninja forms partnership has ended as i get updates and now my entire site is giving me errors pointing back to ninja and i cannot even get to my site to uninstall or disable the plugin

Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /home/MYSITENAME/public_html/wp-content/plugins/boldgrid-ninja-forms/deprecated/includes/widget.php on line 118

Hi, PTAdmin! I further reviewed the situation after reading your last question and I think that the easiest way to fix this will be to deactivate the plugin via the WordPress command line. You can SSH in to the server, or use cPanel's built in terminal.

If you've never used the command line though, feel free to contact our Live Support team directly and they can deactivate the plugin for you. Hope that helps!

I have attempted to activate the Ninja Forms Contact Form application and I get the following critical error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ninja_forms_three_table_exists() (previously declared in /home/howard57/public_html/wp-content/plugins/boldgrid-ninja-forms/ninja-forms.php:70) in /home/howard57/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/ninja-forms.php on line 31

How am I supposed to "download and activate the plugin directly from the developer.  Once activated, the version of the plugin will give you the option to import all of your contact forms" if I can't even activate it?

Sorry if it is a bit confusing! It is actually possible to download the plugin files from Ninja Forms and manually install them by uploading the plugin installation folder to your WordPress site. The exact instructions for this will vary from one plugin developer to the next, so I would suggest following the installation instructions recommended by Ninja Forms. Ideally, you should be able to upload this version of the plugin, then remove/uninstall the BoldGrid version of the plugin and seamlessly reconnect with your addons.

If that is not the case, you may need to uninstall the currently installed BoldGrid version of the plugin, along with your Ninja Forms addons, make sure that any plugin-specific files have been removed or renamed, then install the direct from Ninja Forms version of the plugin, along with the addons. Given the nature of this reconfiguration, please take backups of your site before carrying it out and talk to our Technical Support team if you need specific guidance regarding the nature of your site.

Hi hocopball,

Thank you so much for your question. Our previous partnership with ninja forms has ended; however, you can continue using the plugin to create and manage contact forms. To do so without receiving the error message, download and activate the plugin directly from the developer. Once activated, the new version of the plugin will give you the option to import all of your contact forms, so you shouldn't lose your data. Remove the BoldGrid branded version once you've completed the setup of the newer version. If you need additional assistance, please contact our 24/7 support as they will be able to take a closer look at your account and offer hands-on help if needed.

Kindest regards,

Stormy
