Error 403 - Forbidden symbolic link

• Installed laravel site in my hosting.
• Deleted public_html folder
• Created symbolic link of public_html   [ ln -s laravel/public public_html ]
• I get   in my site:
  Error 403 - Forbidden
  You don't have permission to access the requested resource. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.
