Staying Logged into WordPress

Hi,

I am a new customer to InMotion, but previously I ran my WordPress site on another host. I am now finding one feature in my WordPress management that seems strange and I want to try to fix it if I can please.

Even after I login to my WordPress site, if I go to a page, I often find I am no longer logged in. And even if I login again, I stay logged in while I am in the Dashboard, but am often logged out again when I go to a page again. This is frustrating as I have to login, go back to the dashboard and open the page from there each time I want to edit a page. Somehow, the login isn't being "remembered".

This wasn't happening previously and I don't think I have changed any settings, so I wonder if there is something in how InMotion's WordPress setup that I need to know about. Any thoughts please?

Hello Eric H. Thanks for posting your question regarding how to maintain your login session while visiting pages on your WordPress website. I'm sorry to see that this is causing an issue for you. Our WordPress optimized servers do run on NGINX. I recommend disabling caching, using the Cache Manager plugin in cPanel. Temporarily disabling the cache may help correct the issue while you are working on your website. Once you are done working on your website, you can re-enable caching. I hope this helps. Don't forget, as an InMotion Hosting customer, you can always contact our Live Technical Support for further assistance. Sincerely, Carlos D
